Rent our Lovely Home!

We are living abroad for a little while, and we'd like someone caring and responsible to rent our charming 2bd/1ba house. (Sept 2008-March 2009 or longer)

The house is located in the Temescal district of North Oakland, very close to BART/bus access, College Ave., restaurants, and shopping. The public pool is two blocks away! Hardwood floors throughout, and there is a washer/dryer in the basement, as well as some storage available.

Here is the front door, it faces west, as does the windows in the living room, and spare bedroom/office. There is a lot of warm afternoon sun on this side.



Living room. It can be furnished with sofa, chairs, and television and dvd player. The fireplace is in working order, and is great during the winter months. There is also an unfurnished option should you require it.


The kitchen was remodeled very recently. All stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, stainless steel double basin sink, and garbage disposal. Dishware and silverware available for your use.

Kitchen, right. Combo gas stove/electric oven and microwave. Pots/pans and cooking utensils are available for your use. It's a great kitchen for all you gourmet chefs out there! The kitchen has french doors that open to the backyard deck.

The upstairs bedroom has two closets, and will be furnished with a queen bed, two dressers, and two side tables. The window is south facing.


The bathroom has a shower over the tub, and a single basin sink.


The backyard has a great magnolia tree, as well as lots of spring and summer flowers. The deck, comes furnished with a bbq, and patio furniture. There is great morning sun in the backyard, perfect for weekends with a cup of coffee and newspaper.



Details: Monthly rent is $2095 (furnished) / $1895 (unfurnished)

First/last, plus and one month deposit upon move-in. Non-smokers only.
